Tonight CNUSD meets to decide whether to do a partial reopen or not. That being said ATU met with FS Management yesterday to discuss what that would look like for all of us. Here is what was agreed.

1) The bid will be live on Zoom so all of us waiting can monitor the routes being bid on.

2) You will have 10 minutes to bid.

3) For drivers currently on wage continuation only: Due to covid-19 you will be able to pass with no prejudice and not lose seniority to bid later.

All members currently on layoff: We will meet 11/13 am with FS to agree on how this will work for you.

4) Attendance policy will be flexible.

5) As routes are available they will be posted.

6) With a reopening of all schools or a large number of routes there will be a full rebid.

7) High-risk members would need to seek an LOA, Personal Leave, or, FMLA to retain job and seniority while out due to Covid-19. AB-1867 gives approximately 10 working days of extra pay, but, expires Dec 31st.

8) Routes posted showing Friday off will be guaranteed 5 full pay hours for that day/25 hrs for the week.

9) PPE package will include, wipes, gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, (face shield, van/monitors.) Face shield and goggles available on request. You can bring an apron or smock.

10) Handwashing stations will be at both Norco yards with hand sanitizer at the kiosks, restrooms will be cleaned 4 times a week with sanitizer sprayed in between.

11) Check to make sure your Inservice hours are up to date or that you have time to make any up before bid.

12) PSB's will NOT be required to clean porta-potty.

As you all know these are unknown times. Ask questions and be ready for constant change. Union reps will be at the bid to assist you.
